The Massawippi Theatre Troupe is dedicated to evolving with each production we mount, and are proud to showcase that evolution after the curtains have come down. The Importance of Being Earnest (2024)
Our flagship production, when we were originally known as the North Hatley Theatre Troupe. While little evidence of it remains, this show started our company and showed us the importance of community, and that it still wanted theatre.

A Midsummer Night's Dream (2025)
Our first Shakespeare production, our rendition of A Midsummer Night's Dream was set in the age of the Industrial Revolution. Featuring a stark contrast between the worlds of civilization and magic, enhanced by our rotating columns that transformed into trees, this classic oozed enchantment, comedy and love!

The Importance of Being Earnest Remount (2026)
Following the success of the first iteration, a remount of The Importance of Being Earnest was staged. This version, featuring some returning cast, costumes, and set but with new elements to all, captured the spirit of the original while demonstrating how far the Massawippi Theatre Troupe has come.
