Our Story
The Massawippi Theatre Troupe started as an idea between artists in the North Hatley community in 2017. Originally conceived as the North Hatley Theatre Troupe, our company prepared its first production in the Summer of 2024. Realizing that there is a growing need for English Theatre in the region, we re-invented ourselves as the Massawippi Theatre Troupe in 2026, with a focus on bringing the arts to all corners of the Eastern Townships.
